We’re excited to introduce the second cohort of the Supplier Development Program (SDP)- a bold initiative co-delivered by Social Traders and Mirvac to fast-track the capability and capacity of certified social enterprises to deliver on major commercial contracts.
Following the success and positive feedback from the first program, this year’s program has expanded from four to six certified social enterprises. Each certified social enterprise is paired with a dedicated Mirvac mentor, working side-by-side to strengthen business capability, access new opportunities, and scale their social and environmental impact.
During the first program, 28% of social enterprise participants increased their capability with the most growth in procurement readiness. And all Mirvac mentors reported that their mentee became more capable and contract-ready.
The Supplier Development Program highlights our mission to unlock demand for social enterprise through business and government procurement, and reinforces Mirvac’s leadership in building a sustainable, inclusive supply chain.

The social procurement spend over the last seven years has led to:
When social enterprises scale, we all benefit.
The Supplier Development Program gives social enterprises the tools, networks, and confidence to scale – while opening real procurement pathways with leading businesses.
Together, Social Traders and Mirvac are proving that business can be a force for good and lift their social performance. It’s going beyond just delivering on financial outcomes. It’s also delivering social value through business.
By investing in developing social enterprise capability and building connections, we're creating a stronger social enterprise sector- and delivering impact with every contract.
