Buy from social enterprise.
change the lives of disadvantaged Australians

Social enterprises exist to drive social and environmental change. Buying goods and services from them is the most effective means of breaking the cycle of disadvantage for thousands of Australians.

Social Traders is committed to growing the social procurement marketplace to
$1 billion per annum by 2030.

Social Traders mission is to foster social enterprise growth by helping them unlock and access the buying power of the Government and private sectors. This is the Social Traders marketplace.

In the past two years, the Social Traders marketplace has facilitated $105 million worth of deals between social enterprises and private and Government buyers. This spend has supported more than 700 jobs for disadvantaged Australians and provided many other community benefits

Given private and public sector procurement in Australia is valued at around $600 billion per annum the potential of social procurement is very clear – it represents the most significant opportunity for social enterprise growth, and social change for disadvantaged Australians.
