I believe in a world where everyones gifts, talents and contributions are welcomed, acknowledged and celebrated, where everyday people are leading changemaking efforts and where economic exchange was a force for good.
For the last fifteen years I have been working in Community Development, Inclusion, and Community building roles including running my own small businesses and social enterprises. I am also very involved in my local community through a plethora of volunteering roles and networks, which help me to keep abreast to current information and highly connected to a diverse range of people.
Social enterprise procurement is one very potent way for social enterprises, business, government, and communities to work towards this above.
I look forward to working with business and government members to become a business for good and create a more inclusive and equitable Australia by making buying from social enterprise the norm.
I have a Bachelor of Recreation from Illinois State University (USA) and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessing.
