Social Traders has been included in the second annual Innovation Index as the 8th most innovative organisation within Australia’s Not for Profit (NFP) sector.
Published yesterday by GiveEasy – a digital fund raising platform – the Innovation Index received approximately 198,000 responses from 1,200 NFP organisations. The responses were measured according to seven areas of innovation that include; internal and external collaboration, innovations focus, openness of culture & vision, organisational velocity, rewards & recognition and stakeholder centricity.
Social Traders Managing Director David Brookes said, “Social Traders is an innovative organisation because our team is driven by a belief that social enterprise is a viable and effective business model for creating social and economic impact. To bring this belief into practice, through our business strategy, we have developed a social enterprise vision for 2025. We align all our services and operations to work collectively toward this vision, which is for social enterprise to employ over 500,000 Australians and contribute to 3-4% of Australia’s GDP by 2025”.
The Innovation Index is run by GiveEasy through partnership from Australia Post and Westpac.
