ReFab aims to create employment opportunities for the disabled and the fostering community through training and up-skilling individuals in the designing and making of clothes and other textile based products from recycled textiles.
The Refab business model will incorporate the design and manufacture of a range of textile-based products including clothes, handbags, and toys using recycled textiles for direct online distribution and through retail outlets. Other services available through the Centre will include alterations, sewing classes, art classes, exhibition space and talks by experts.
Their unique selling proposition will be locally produced, handmade and environmentally sustainable products. Profits will be reinvested into the enterprise to support the continued development, education programs, employees and ability to provide reasonably priced services, empowering individuals on environmental sustainability.Back to Alumni
