Creating jobs through social enterprise
Since shifting organisational strategy in early 2018, we have seen significant growth in the social procurement sector. The 2018 major highlights include:
- The Victorian Government released its Social Procurement Framework
- The Queensland Government’s Procurement Policy includes special consideration for social enterprises
- Infrastructure Sustainability Council of Australia and New Zealand developed the Infrastructure Sustainability Rating Tool, which broadens the definition of sustainability to include social outcomes
