WORKSHOP: Marketing strategy & research for your social enterprise
Is it for me?
This workshop is for people who have a social enterprise or a social enterprise idea and are looking to understand their market. The information presented will be useful for feasibility assessments and business planning. It is particularly relevant for people who are at the fifth stage of The Builder ('designing') or later.
This workshop is for anyone who has a social enterprise idea including those from the arts, education, employment creation organisations, environment, housing, health, children’s services, community development, the disability sector, regional development, neighbourhood houses, sport and recreation, and transport and all those looking to create community benefit.
Prerequisites: It is strongly advised that you have attended
- a social enterprise study tour; or
- an Introduction to Social Enterprise workshop;
- or completed stages one and two of The Builder.
How will it benefit me?
In this session, you will learn how to design and execute a simple market research program and how to interpret the results to produce a marketing strategy.

Duration and Structure
This is a full-day workshop from 10:00am to 4:00pm. Lunch and afternoon tea will be provided.
