Social Traders are experts in social enterprise capacity building.

Since 2009, Social Traders has operated one of Australia’s most highly respected and rigorous social enterprise start-up programs called The Crunch.

Our primary focus and engagement has been with early stage social enterprises aiming to be investment ready and trading within 12 months after completing a 6 month incubation program.  These early stages of a social enterprise are critical and suit those with an idea that will generate community benefit through trading.  No organisation in Australia can make this happen as well as we can.

Over the years we’ve also identified a small but growing niche of social enterprises that are already up and running but require business assistance.  These social enterprises have typically been trading as not-for-profit entities for more than two years and require high-level advice and support to grow revenue by winning new contracts, accessing investment and developing new business relationships.

Meet some of the participants who have completed a Crunch program to test, grow or develop their social enterprise or start-up idea.
