Social Traders conducts a range of programmatic initiatives that support start-up and existing social enterprises. These initiatives, such as ‘The Crunch’, along with specialist tools like the Social Enterprise Builder, demonstrate our expertise in social enterprise support.

Social enterprise business coaching
Social Traders has in-house specialists who are highly experienced in all aspects of social enterprise business strategy and management. Through our coaching service, these experts work with you to identify the areas of your social enterprise that need attention and help you to find solutions and build your skills and capacity.
Coaching is delivered through three different packages:
• On-request business coaching and consulting: $125/hour – delivered, billed and charged per hour, with no minimum number of hours;
• Package of 10-days per year: $8,500 – delivered, billed and charged in blocks of no less than half-a-day;
• Package of 20 days per year: $16,000 – delivered, billed and charged in blocks of no less than half-a-day.
Social enterprise consulting
Social Traders works with organisations to define and solve social enterprise business problems, including: assessing the feasibility of a social enterprise idea; business planning for a new social enterprise; planning for growth of an existing enterprise; and assisting new and growing social enterprises to access finance.
Consulting projects are scoped and costed in response to a client’s brief. Rates range from $900 to $1,500/day subject to complexity.
Social enterprise business plan review
Social Traders can provide an independent and full review of your business plan. This service can be particularly useful for people wanting to submit their plan for philanthropic funding or social financing. We will review your plan, provide you with face-to-face feedback and, if you wish, prepare a written summary of our assessment. This service is charged at $125/hour.
