Here is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic not-for-profit company that is offering a range of strategic, project management and advisory roles.

Established in 2008, Social Traders is growing to meet the increasing need for social enterprise development services from Governments and social investors who are interested in the role that such businesses can play in addressing social challenges in the community.

These Melbourne-based roles (with other options for the Business Advisor role) will join a small, high-calibre team at Social Traders who are already engaged in information services, social enterprise development and investment support, training, strategy and government policy.

Policy & Strategy Manager

Responsible for stakeholder management, government relations, strategic communications, policy analysis and development, you will bring extensive external stakeholder relationship experience, strong negotiation and influencing capability, excellent communication skills and sound analytical skills in relation to policy issues


Project Manager – The Crunch
• Ref. No. 3B/55693
You will take operational responsibility for Social Traders’ flagship social enterprise development and investment initiative, ‘The Crunch’. You will bring extensive multi-stakeholder project management experience, outstanding communication, negotiation and presentation skills, demonstrated understanding of business planning and strong analytical skills.


Project Manager – Social Enterprise Development Support

You will lead the planning and delivery of a national social enterprise development support project. To be successful in securing this role, you have extensive project management experience and strong business development skills. You thrive in developing information and networks as well as managing staff performance and reporting.


Business Development Advisor
• Ref. No. 3B/55674
Provide business development advice and support to social enterprises, including business planning and review, budgeting, product development, staff planning and business partnerships. You have extensive business development experience, commercial acumen and strong facilitation, negotiation and communication skills.


Communications & Marketing Advisor
• Ref. No. 3B/55676
You will coordinate project marketing and communications, produce communication materials about social enterprises for media and website channels, provide communications advice to social enterprises and assist the identification of social enterprise champions. You bring strong business marketing and communications experience to the role.
