Do you know of a franchised Social Enterprise in Australia?
The advantage of participating in a franchise is that it allows a social enterprise to focus efforts on operating a business that already has a successful model and track record. A social enterprise franchisor has the opportunity to extend their impact to other communities, and they also have the opportunity to share their successful model with others and earn income doing it. Seems like an obvious choice - right? Then why are there so few in Australia?

This Months’ Opinion piece written by the Director of the Franchise Advisory Centre invites us to discuss questions on whether social enterprise can be franchised to scale social value creation. We invite you to offer your views and experiences – successful or not – to help answer questions on how, why and when we can franchise... http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/group.php?gid=110911458934974
