
Social Traders Appoints New Social Enterprise Navigator
Nina Howard has been appointed to the new role of Social Enterprise Navigator with Social Traders. This role has been established to provide a first point of contact and advice to established and emerging social enterprises, assist build the capacity of enterprises to access information, network and resources and facilitate the development of social enterprise networks.
Nina joins Social Traders with extensive experience in developing community development programs and building cooperative stakeholder relationships with government, civil society, multilateral/bilateral agencies and the private sector. She has worked overseas in the USA, PNG and Cambodia and since 2006 was a project manager with Traidcraft, the UK's leading Fair Trade organisation. In this role she assisted more than 50 social enterprises in South East Asia to develop more sustainable market access opportunities as well as facilitating training and workshops with young entrepreneurs from Vietnam and Cambodia to increase their business development capacity. Nina commences work with Social Traders on 8th February.
