Social Enterprise Study Tours

The best way to learn about social enterprise is from the people who make it happen!

The Social Enterprise Study Tours provide an opportunity for people engaged or interested in the social enterprise sector, to hear from key social enterprise practitioners, giving in depth and practical insight into the establishment, development and operations of their successful social enterprise. These informal and engaging tours are a fabulous opportunity for knowledge sharing and discussion.

The study tours will be held on the following dates in 2011:

Wednesday 7 September - Walking tour of a diverse group of Melbourne CBD's oldest and newest social enterprises - Completed

Tuesday 11 October - Completed
Thursday 23 November - featuring employment focused social enterprises InfoXChange, Incito (Wise Employment) and lunch at Charcoal Lane.

Itineraries of each tour will be released at least two weeks prior to tour. For information on previous tours please see attachments below.

Places are limited – bookings are essential

Event Details

When:

9am (sharp!) to 5.30pm

Where:

The tour begins at Social Traders, Level 4, 136 Exhibition st, Melbourne and from there we travel as a group to visit 4 social enterprise sites through-out the day

Cost:

$150 - includes transport to all social enterprises, lunch and morning tea (provided by a social enterprise)
